Bike & Gear Shipping

The Empire State Ride will provide bike shipping information closer to the tour. We will designate a bike shop in Buffalo and New York City to help with the bike shipping process.

If you are departing from Buffalo, NY, we invite you drop your bike and gear off for transport to NYC. Bike & gear drop will be available before the event at 901 Washington St, Buffalo, NY 14203 (Please remember that you will not be able to take your bike or gear on the shuttle). We will send the details of Bike & Gear drop off to participants closer to the event.

*This is also a great time to drop off any final donations!

If camping isn’t your thing, you can stay in a hotel along the route at your own expense. We will provide suggested hotels to riders interested in this option.

  • For those traveling from Buffalo to the New York City start line, Empire State Ride will provide a low cost shuttle the day before the start.
  • Transportation will be provided from the finish line at Niagara Falls to the City of Buffalo at the conclusion of the ride.
  • A shuttle will also be planned after the finish line for riders who need a lift back to NYC.
  • *Empire State Ride will reach out to all riders in the Spring on the cost of shuttle options so you can make appropriate travel arrangements to NYC or Buffalo.
